Eugene R. Brady. Gene Brady was born on March 27, 1928, in York, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on June 4, 1946, and after completing basic training, he served at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina, until he was selected for the Naval Aviation Cadet Program in June 1949.
