- Pro: Perfect Summers. Seattle’s summers are ideal for adventuring outdoors. You couldn’t ask for better weather and fewer bugs. Average high temperatures peak around 22°C (72°F) with lows dipping to 14°C (57°F) in the evenings.
- Con: Dark Winters. Seattle’s amazing summers are countered by its dreary winters. The temperatures aren’t the issue, bottoming out comfortably above freezing, around 4°C (39°F).
San Francisco vs Seattle: final word. Both cities are fantastic places to visit and live, but they each have their drawbacks as well. While Seattle is becoming more expensive, it is still cheaper to live in compared to San Francisco. Seattle is also less dense in population than SF.
