Gorgeous and remote, Miscou Island is a wonderful escape with lots to see and do. Bicycling is excellent (some head winds) and the trek out to the Miscou Lighthouse is worth it ... the ride on bikes takes you through bogs and marsh lands and while we were there in the summer, we hear that the fall colors are no to be missed!
No visit to Miscou Island is complete without a trip to the lighthouse at the top of the island. Beautiful views and interesting history of an old lighthouse.
