Sam, with her husband and gallery co-owner, Poe Dismuke, now resides in the historic southeastern Arizona mining town of Bisbee. Her work here addresses the precarious nature of local places and the hardscrabble lives of those who came before.
Sam and Poe are among the most talented artists in Arizona. Their airy gallery is spacious and comfortable with "work stations" and projects under way in addition to finished works of art and sculpture. This is one of the must do's even on a brief visit!
