The O’Dea High School Football Program is grounded in rich tradition. Monte Kohler has been the Head Coach for the Fighting Irish since 1985. Throughout his tenure Coach Kohler has led his teams to 4 State Championships, 3 Academic State Championships, 10 State Championship games, 25 Metro Championships, and 34 State Tournament appearances.
Athletic success is a longstanding tradition at O’Dea High School, and with this tradition comes the responsibility to compete, with honor. The Fighting Irish have brought home 22 State Championships, 10 Academic State Championships, and 34 Metro League All Sports Titles.
