- Your pension is payable on the second-last banking day of each month, except in December when payments are made before December 25. If you’re receiving a LAPP pension, the COLA increase will be reflected in your upcoming January payment. Your annual pension statement will show the increase in your monthly pension and will be available in your secure online account by the end of January 2024.

Pension Payment Dates. Once your pension payments have started, you can expect to receive your direct deposit payment in your bank account on the second-last banking day of each month, except in December when it is paid before December 25.
Highlights. LAPP is a defined benefit pension plan. This means the pension benefit is defined by a formula that uses your average pensionable earnings, age, and years of service. There is no probation or waiting period. Investment decisions are made by the plan and not by you.
