Notre Dame Secondary School was established in 1983 to serve Heart Lake in Brampton and the communities of Caledon, Orangeville, Bolton, and Georgetown. Notre Dame opened with eight teachers and a principal in BD Fleming Public School.

Students will have the opportunity to build relationships with over 20 Black Peel Trailblazers from the Brampton community. The goal of this experience is to motivate young people to participate, engage, and understand how they can take the torch and uplift each other.
