He's a 17MPG player, including garbage time, doubt this changes for the LAL, sucks for him though, he signed the vet min after running out of options this year, he won't have better offers next year.

While in Houston, he witnessed how they operate, and even vocalized how disappointed he was with James Harden wanting out. Words exchanged at practice with Harden and both end up being traded.

Dec 26, 2023 · Who should the Lakers have signed to a minimum contract to be their 14th roster spot if not Christian Wood? Also, how many minutes is the 9th guy off the bench supposed to play? Not many teams roll with 14 man rotations, even in the regular season.
Sep 10, 2024 · Christian Wood had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced. Wood will be re-evaluated in eight weeks. Wood missed the last two months of last season after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee. Wood picked up his $3 million player option with the Lakers this offseason.

Woods looks to be clearly much more dynamic than Drummond, and post-ASB he’s averaging 24/10/2/1/1 on 66%TS (9 games). His last 18 haven’t looked too far off that pace either, 21/9/2/1/1 on 65%TS. His outside shot opens up lanes to the basket — when the defender commits to contesting his perimeter shot he gets by so easily and so quickly.
