Cristina Hoyos Panadero (born 13 June 1946) is a Spanish flamenco dancer, choreographer and actress, born in Seville, Spain. After a successful worldwide career, she opened her own dance company in 1988 that premiered at the Rex Theatre in Paris.

Biography. Cristina Hoyos was born in Seville in 1946. After a large period training she became the first "bailaora" (Flamenco dancer) for Antonio Gades, a position she occupied for two decades, so she was involved in almost all his great works, such as "Crónica del suceso de Bodas de Sangre", "Carmen" and "El Amor Brujo".
Cristina Hoyos has been called the “Andalucían Priestess of Flamenco” a title that fits her to a tee. Her dance is traditional “baile flamenco” but with a twist of modernism, a modernism that follows the tradition of pure flamenco.
