May 22, 2024 · Walmart (most), Food Basics, No Frills (never use to), Toys R Us, etc do this. I use a permanent marker to mark the remaining balance on the card. Many stores will put in the EXACT amount you have remaining if you know what it is. Lastly, as mentioned, you can usually dump them into an online balance like a coffee account or Amazon balance.
May 21, 2021 · For the bbq'ers. Fresh never frozen cryovac'd pork ribs on sale at Food Basics for $3.99/lb. The Vic park location has lots, they are big packages of around 8 racks per pk. Ribs are on the smaller size. Around $45 per pkg. Not the cheapest I've seen it but I find all prices are up so this may be the new sale price.
Oct 1, 2021 · A new Food Basics opened up today at 22 Poyntz Ave. This is on the second floor of the Emerald Park building near Yonge/Sheppard. They were supposed to have a grand opening this morning at 8am, but due to technical difficulties they are postponing the opening to 2pm.

Oct 24, 2013 · Depending on the NoFrills some are close to Metro / Sobeys Prices. Most Expensive = Metro & Sobeys / FreshCo (FreshCo is not cheap, their prices are almost identical to the other stores mentioned) Food Basic = Prices are little better, not that great. All the stores are the same, shrink selection increase the price.
May 22, 2024 · This is a good deal especially with amex cobalt x5 at food basics conversion to Aeroplan ~10% on top But reading previous deals on vanilla using multiple prepaid at same store can resulting in bricking the card which then require to request new cards to be mailed out.
