Dec 16, 2020 · The OG Home Alone is a Christmas classic. I like Home Alone 2 a little less, but it’s still good. Now we come to Home Alone 3. Directed by Raja Gosnell (the man behind the live-action Scooby-Doo and Smurfs movies) Home Alone 3 has no connection to the previous two entries. There’s no Macaulay Culkin, no Joe Pesci, and no Daniel Stern.
Home Alone: 7.7/10 Home Alone 2: 6.8/10 Home Alone 3: 4.5/10 The fact that Rotten Tomatoes has it ranked: Home Alone: 66% Home Alone 2: 35% Home Alone 3: 29% is absurd. I loved Home Alone 3, I don't get the hate towards it. I liked the terrorist subplot and all the tactility Alex puts towards his investigating.
Home Alone 3 should follow the real Macaulay Culkin as himself, home alone one night while An obsessed fan of the home alone movies stalks him. He has to eventually fend for himself in a similar fashion to the first 2 movies.
Dec 21, 2022 · Home Alone 3 is definitely underrated and deserves more recognition. I also think that the writing in the third movie is much more polished and well-thought out. The character development and plot are both much more cohesive and make more sense compared to the first two movies.
May 4, 2022 · To my astonishment, I liked the third “Home Alone” movie better than the first two; I'm even going so far as to recommend it, although not to grownups unless they are having a very silly day. This movie follows the exact formula of the first two, but is funnier and gentler, has a real charmer for a hero, and provides splendid wish fulfillment and escapism for kids in, say, the lower grades.
Home Alone was a classic. It's good on so many levels and there's so much attention to detail in it. The second one makes no sense. The wet bandits should have died pretty instantly, especially Marv. I never watch 3,4 or 5. I watched Home Sweet Home Alone. Rob Delaney is awesome in it, what a waste of talent. The movie just doesn't make any sense.

If Home Alone 3 ever comes to fruition, here’s an idea on how it could look like in terms of the plot; it can have a modern feel to it in terms of the traps. Marv and Harry finished serving their sentence and have been released. Plotting their revenge in prison, they are ready to finally put it into action.
