Quora was genuinely meant to be used as a place to get info and share info with others, but like all internet places it is all about making it a toxic place now, unfortunately. They say it is not a platform for debating like Reddit is, but people use it for debating anyway and that might be the root of the comparison.

You’ll never see an answer thread on Quora about drinking too much devolve into a discussion about a scene on a sit-com because the actor in the scene was once in a movie in a supporting role that had a b-plot about binge drinking.

Feb 11, 2022 · Quora doesn't have any of this because there's nothing on Quora that resembles reddit's sub/group system. There's no sense of community because there's no groups, and there's no volunteer moderators. It's just an absolute free-for-all. The upvoting-downvoting system doesn't even seem to work in a way that's straightforward at all.

You won't find much info on Google, but a good place to ask questions about Quora is on Quora. It seems silly, but you will get more answers quickly if your question is interesting and unique.
