Look for her news on Twitter. Ms. Wilkenfeld is around, but she's busy, man. Let's wish her well and let her do her thing.
Feb 11, 2013 · Yeah, she plays a far different venue than I do. Big stage, big guitars and big drums. When doing that at hi volume levels the requirements are totally different.
Apr 10, 2007 · If I could meet Tal, and let her use my Peavey Foundation, she dial up its bridge pickup, turn down the tone, and sound like she does on her Sadowsky. Kwesi, she could turn up the J pup on your NS-2 and sound very close. She is using the classic bridge J-pup tone with a nice touch. I can do a decent job mimicing Tal's tone on my Jazz or my Peavey.
Nov 17, 2009 · Tal Wilkenfeld I'm obviously bummed about the show, but this is no time for me to be griping... I just hope she is ok. From the sound of it, she will be rescheduling dates, so it sounds like she is ok, thank goodness. Just hope it wasn't serious and that she will be ok soon...

Mar 7, 2009 · As a bass player, I like Tal. She plays very well. I probably like her better as a sideman than a leader; her writing isn't that interesting to me. As a woman, I don't find her especially attractive. Not my type, or whatever. I suppose, as a bass player, Tal being a woman isn't really material to me.
Mar 9, 2005 · Last night, while bouncing around youtube looking for some comedy, I stumbled on this episode of Kill Tony and was surprised to see Tal Wilkenfeld open for the show, solo! I don't know too much about her, so had no idea what to expect. But I thought her rendition of the US national anthem was unique and intersting.

Aug 21, 2013 · Anybody get to a show from this tour? I've been following it on YT, and it's quite well-done. Lots of guests, lots of younger talent brought in too. The show runs pretty long. I mentioned it here, because Tal is on bass. Her stint with the Allman Bros. was helpful for sure, but she has really taken up the job now.
