Nov 10, 2019 · There’s a new New Mutant series with a number one out this month. I would start with 18 (the first issue of the demon bear run) and continue until issue 100. You'll get a drop in quality towards the end as Robert Liefield takes more and more control, but you'll still have good writers on the book till then.
Apr 1, 2022 · New Mutants 60-61 and 64 are the three most important issues of New Mutants since Demon Bear. Magneto is incredible, every student has a perfect voice, the plot is unbelievable, there's Inferno foreshadowing, the issues rock. This is technically the end of the Bird Brain arc, but you can just ignore all that.

Apr 14, 2021 · My biggest problem with the film was definitely how they didn't explain the kid's powers. This is definitely a problem smaller films like this one. I rated the film as a 6/10. There were some definite problems in the film but I enjoyed watching it and I don't really think it deserves the amount of hate it gets. 2.

Generic but decent is honestly better than I expected. The X-men film series is certainly more hit than miss I would say. Thing is, when the X-Men films are a miss, they do it in horrifically bad fashion. But when they are good (Logan, Days of Future Past) they are better than any MCU or DCEU films.
Sep 4, 2022 · I thought it was actually really good to. I enjoyed it more than I did a lot of those later X-Men franchise films. I think Rahne and Illyana were very well acted. Although I am not sure that I like the idea that Illyana was sexually exploited and has a body count already (even if they were, presumably, child rapists).
Jul 30, 2023 · It was a horror movie in which part of the horror was being isolated. Would have hit harder if it didn't come out while everyone was isolating due to Covid. It was one of the few movies released during Covid, when everyone was scared to go to the theater. Horror about isolation wasn’t really a problem during Covid.
