He served as a member of the Board of Directors, a role he held following his tenure as Chair from 2006 to 2017, until his passing in 2023. Alan moved to Canada from Scotland in 1979 and worked as a tax consultant to Ted Rogers for a decade before joining Rogers in 1990.
