But in the past week they have been accompanied by menstrual like cramps, too, and are stronger. I wake up to them but only to use the bathroom then I can usually fall back asleep.

May 14, 2020 · Anyone have Braxton Hicks at 19 weeks? My lower part of my abdomen tightened for a few seconds a few hours apart today. Just one contraction at a time, painless. I’m just worried because I have the cerclage. I had preterm labor with my daughter at 26 weeks so I worry about everything.
Nov 7, 2019 · Lay down on your left side and rest for an hour. If they don’t go away then it may be the beginning of labor. My Braxton Hicks usually stop when I pee. I had one contraction on NST that reached 60, and lasted longer than my standard Braxton hick.

Apr 17, 2021 · T. TwinMama2o18. Braxton hicks are not consistent. Trust me, i was on bed rest during my twin pregnancy because of them and other issues. I had like 8-9 in an hour then nothing then a ton. Never consistent by minutes. If consistent by minutes OR 5-6 in an hour for a few hours straight, thats time for L&D to get checked.
