    If the vulnerable person is 17 years old or younger, information must be renewed yearly.
    If the vulnerable person is 18 years old or older, information must be renewed every two years.
  5. How to apply: Apply online at https://rec-check.peelpolice.ca. Make sure you fill out the VULNERABLE SECTOR check. When asked about the notification preference of results, choose Embossed Hard Copy and NOT the digital copy.

  6. The online program allows residents of Brampton and Mississauga, to apply for all three levels of record checks, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
