The Introduction to Philosophy fall semester class guides students toward maturity of intellect and Christian faith by teaching them to use careful analysis and logical reasoning to think responsibly and creatively about their worldview in light of the Christian faith, the history of philosophy and the best of contemporary philosophy.
What is our education philosophy? Prestonwood Christian Academy was established in 1997 with the core philosophy of Kingdom education; bringing the home, church and school into a partnership for the purpose of training the next generation.
The main focus of the course is to present the Bible as the story of God’s acts and words, written so that the students might know God and themselves, accept His gift of salvation, and live lives of joyful service and obedience. The goal is to help the students understand the Bible literally, culturally and geographically.
