Athletic success is a longstanding tradition at O’Dea High School, and with this tradition comes the responsibility to compete, with honor. The Fighting Irish have brought home 22 State Championships, 10 Academic State Championships, and 34 Metro League All Sports Titles.
We value a diverse community of learners and have a range of supports in place to help all students succeed. Our dedicated faculty work hard to meet students where they are and design curriculum to help them face the various challenges to prepare for life after high school.

He talked about how he felt like the school wanted him to succeed as a teacher and as an individual and how that is important to him.

As his freshman year rolled around, Maragh thought he was going to be a baseball player. But as it is now, he has switched sports, maybe for the better.
