  2. I have shopped at Micro Center for many years. Their return policy is incredibly generous; their in-house Inland products are generally a good value; and they can sell you a computer ("PowerSpec") brand that is worth the price of entry and, get this, actually serviceable by anyone with half a brain.

  3. Micro Center is the best consumer experience you will have. Period. The builds they do will be better than any prebuilt you buy because they are assembled by competent, usually actually certified techs. Powerspec builds are great foundations which get you in with solid specs at a good price point.

  5. Micro Center isn't great. Their prices are pretty bad a lot of the time. Some of the lifers are there to upsell you for commission. But the Processors are usually cheap, and you can usually get $30 off a CPU/MOBO combo. When I was there they would also price match as long as the price was above "store cost", and I've heard its even more lax now.

  6. Microcenter is awesome. Most of their stuff is fairly price competitive. For many parts just getting able to see and touch it in person makes a big difference over ordering from a picture, and they seriously have such a variety that it's hard to really imagine before going in the first time.

  7. Hi, I was looking to buy a prebuilt and have consistently heard the PowerSpecs Micro Center builds are generally pretty good, so I was considering one of these for my new gaming pc.
