Levallois-Perret ( French pronunciation: [ləvalwa pɛʁɛ] ⓘ) is a commune in the Hauts-de-Seine department and Île-de-France region of north-central France. It lies on the right bank of the Seine, some 6 km (3.7 mi) from the centre of Paris in the north-western suburbs of the French capital.
- Parc de la Planchette. One of the endearing things about Levallois-Perret is its abundance of greenery; almost a fifth of the total area of this suburb is parkland.
- Île de la Jatte. This island in the Seine is a cosy residential area that became fashionable in the late-19th century when the Impressionists set up their easels by the water.
- Maison de la Pêche et de la Nature. At the upper end of the Île de la Jatte is a dinky museum revealing the aquatic life of the Seine. The attraction has several tanks with freshwater fish like pikes, sculpins and catfish.
