Dec 31, 2018 · Short of the initial surprise of paying extra for visiting from outside Rhode Island ($28 instead of $20 for in state), we were completely impressed by all other aspects of Matunuck Beach. The sand is clean, the beach is very long and more than sufficiently wide, and the water was warmer than what we're used to even 100 miles up the coast.
