Aug 27, 2011 · The free VST Synth1 (which is I think linked in the FAQ) is great for crunchy FM noises, squelches and liquidy noises - the fact that the sound engine is old and basic can be a major advantage, because the aliasing gives the sound a "raspy" character. It's also a great learning tool.

Some bass notes (frequencies) sound better than others for psy-trance. For example, I find that bass notes above E feels less "dark" than I'd like it to be.

If I do, It’s mainly artists with a sound I like, such as Domestic (Reference is important!), Eskimo (He has a different kind of thinking… pfff) and other Psytrance artist. I listen to Electronic (Non-trance) music in my spare time and any other kind of music with an edge.
