Jul 4, 2024 · The Snowbirds, Canada’s esteemed air demonstration team, will be including a stop in Sault Ste. Marie on its 2024 celebration tour. The airshow will take place over the Sault waterfront on September 21, 2024, at 2 p.m.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie owns and operates two marinas: The Roberta Bondar Transient Marina located at 65 Foster Drive. The Bellevue Marina located at 1 Pine Street.
In 2019, Sault Ste. Marie was selected as one of eleven communities across Canada to participate in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) program. The program is now open.
