Tooting is a district in South London, forming part of the London Borough of Wandsworth. It is located 5 miles (8 kilometres) south south-west of Charing Cross. [2] History. - Retreat to some green space. Tooting Bec Common is less than 10 minutes from the station, but transports you to a tranquil oasis of greenery and wildlife.
