Canadian Armed Forces: Garrison Wainwright. Garrison Wainwright is located within 1km of the Town of Wainwright in the Municipal District of Wainwright. It is one of the busiest Army bases in Canada. It is home to the Canadian Manoeuvre Training Centre (CMTC), the 3 rd Canadian Division Training Centre (3 CDTC), and approximately 12 lodger units.
