Jun 23, 2020 · The new £850 million Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is multi-award winning and sets a new benchmark in global stadium design. The design has incorporated a fully retractable pitch, making this the first in the UK to have a moving grass pitch and the first in the world to custom-build a place to host both football and NFL (American Football) games.
- Goal Line Bar. At 65 metres long this bar, which runs the length of the South Stand goal line, is the longest in the UK. It is one of several unique bars in the stadium, including The Shelf — which uses bricks from the East Stand of the old White Hart Lane — and Beavertown’s taproom in the south-east corner, the first microbrewery in any football stadium.

At 4.5m it is almost twice as tall as the original — which is in the club’s Lilywhite House offices — and has all the bumps and scratches, including from when Paul Gascoigne hit it with an air rifle!
