Jokic signed a five-year, $148 million deal with the Nuggets back in 2018. That deal was set to expire at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season making Jokic an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2023. The two-time reigning MVP stated back in Aprilhis desire to ink the extension with the Nuggets as soon as it was offered to him.
