If you want to add it as route to the mountains, you have to devide the description in many parts, because the Nadelgrat simply does not belong to one mountain but includes many mountains. So people, how are looking for the Nadelgrat, had to combine many little infos of the part of the Nadelgrat (like the part (Stecknadelhorn-Hohberghorn and Hohberghorn-Dürrenhorn etc.).

The left hand couloir (in the middle of the pic, between the Hohberghorn and the Dirruhorn) and its true L flank, is the normal access to the Hohbergjoch. The righthand couloir leads to the Dirrujoch (to the right of the Dirruhorn).
Nov 2, 2016 · The route continues over the 4241m Stecknadelhorn though this peak is not considered as a separate 4000nder - more like a Munro Top. Above the Stecknadelhorn you make a horizontal snow traverse below the Nadelhorn to join the route down to the Windjoch.
The Nadelhorn offers a beautiful and varied high tour. It is the highest peak of the Nadelgrat. It probably got its name from an oval hole, the so-called "needle hole", which is located about 10 meters northwest of the highest point. The ascent over the normal route belongs to the easier peaks of the Mischabel group if the conditions are good.
The Nadelhorn forms part of the Nadelgrat ridge. This links the Lenzspitze, Nadelhorn, Stecknadelhorn, Hohbärghorn and Dirruhorn – all 4,000-metre peaks. These lie somewhat hidden, extending north-west from the Mischabel group, between Saas Fee and Randa. Their traverse is considered one of the finest ridge climbs in the Alps.
From the Hanig mountain station to Mischabelhütte 1000Hm, cross the ridge to 3600m, then over the Hohbalm glacier to Windjoch (3850) and from there over the Firngrat towards the summit. Because of the crowds on the last 50 metres to the Nadelhorngipfel, turn first towards the Nadelgrat to the Stecknadelhorn, where you can have the summit to yourself.
