    Hampstead is one of London’s most beautiful neighborhoods, not because it has movie star looks—although plenty of movie stars live here—but because of its subtle charm.     • Go House Spotting in Hampstead. Hampstead is a wealthy area of London and this shows in its houses. Hampstead is full of huge mansions- old and new, to smaller quirky houses and cottages with colourful doors.
    • Walk around Hampstead Heath. Going up onto Hampstead Heath is a must-do! The Heath is absolutely huge and you won’t see it all in one day but it’s a lovely area to walk around taking in the fresh air, the ponds, the footpaths and basically feel like you’re in the middle of the Countryside.
    • See a view of London from Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath. A popular place in Hampstead Heath is Parliament Hill and rightly so. From the top of Parliament Hill, you can see an awesome view right over London and see most of the city’s main landmarks.
    • Go Swimming in the Hampstead Bathing Ponds. A unique thing to do in Hampstead and something slightly different is to take a swim in one of Hampstead Heaths swimming ponds!
    • Hampstead High Street. Just outside Hampstead Tube station, Hampstead High Street is at the heart of village life. Full of shops, restaurants, cafes and boutiques, it’s a great place to begin a visit to the neighbourhood.
    • Hampstead Heath. Perfect for rambling, walking and enjoying a picnic on a sunny day, Hampstead Heath is one of London’s best parks. From the panoramic views of the city centre from Parliament Hill to the idyllic trails through trees and woods, the heath is the perfect antidote to the bustling streets of central London.
    • Burgh House. In the heart of Hampstead village, Grade I-listed Burgh House is home to a small museum and pretty cafe. Visitors can learn about the area and its history and then sit at an outdoor table on the leafy terrace for a cup of tea and cake.
    • Holly Bush. One of Hampstead’s most beloved pubs, the Holly Bush is a must-visit on any trip to the area. With a maze of little wood-panelled rooms and cosy fires in the winter, the Holly Bush is a quintessential London establishment.
