You can go inside - there is a museum about the history of the town and you can get an escorted visit to the beautiful council chamber which is not to be missed.

He guided us safely in his car through all the different habitats, we saw 13 different species of raptors, very many migrating waders as well as herons, spoonbills, and other waterfowl.
