  1. Layton Vs Wright. I enjoy the Ace Attorney Series far more than the Layton Series, and this is still one of the “better” Ace Attorney games. As a Layton game, the final act twist is probably my 2nd favorite, right below Lost Future. Also has my favorite Layton Character, being Darklaw. Miracle Mask.

  2. The best one of the main games is Unwound/Lost Future, but Curious Village is the ideal introduction. Honestly the best is Unwound/Lost Future. But if you only play that you're missing out. This is the kind of game series where you have to play from the first. Do my answer is: Unwound/Lost Future if you don't care and only want to play one ever ...

  3. Layton Brothers Mystery Room is great, but very much its own thing. Don’t go into it expecting Professor Layton doing puzzles; this is Inspector Layton solving murders some decades in a nebulous future. Layton’s Mystery Journey is “game 7,” but it’s more a spin-off than a sequel, and isn’t very popular with this subreddit.

Though this is the latest game entry in the series and can be considered a spinoff, many were left with the feeling that the game at best was satisfactory, playing on the Layton-game formula without necessa...

The spinoff game is stated by many as a fine stand-alone experience separate from the Laytongames, framed around Alfendi, the son of Professor Hershel Layton, and his excitable Luke-Esque counterpart Lucy. While the story may not match up to its iconic predecessors, players have complemented its simple design as more of a mystery game on IOS than a...

The first Layton game to be released on Nintendo's 3Ds, The Miracle Maskis one of the most exciting and action-packed entries in the series. 4. Sep 19, 2024 · This game is surprisingly good, especially when compared to the other spin-off about a child of Professor Layton. It follows the same structure I hated in Layton’s Mystery Journey and Azran Legacy —a series of somewhat disconnected cases—but handles this structure much better. The individual cases can vary, but they’re generally ...

  5. Apr 25, 2021 · Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask was the puzzle-solving franchise's first journey onto the 3DS and the penultimate game to Layton's six game extravaganza. 7. Nov 20, 2019 · Hershel Layton is such an iconic character, and was pretty much the heart and soul of the series up to this point. However, after giving the game a chance I found myself pleasantly surprised by just how good the game was, while evolving the formula that Azran Legacies began. Katrielle (Hershel’s daughter) ended up being a charming and fresh ...
