Spit is a similar game in which two players simultaneously put down cards in ascending or descending order, until all of one player's cards are gone. In Speed each player holds up to five cards, and has one stock pile, face down. Two cards can be put down at once. You can not put down more than 2 at once.
Winning the Game. The first player to discard all their cards from both their hand and draw pile wins the game! If neither player can play a card and their draw piles are empty, they each flip over one card face-up from their draw pile onto the discard pile. The game then continues normally. Shouting "Speed!"

Oct 13, 2023 · Starting the Game. First, shuffle your playing cards thoroughly. Each player gets five cards for hand AND 15 cards for their personal draw pile. Place two face-down cards in the middle of the table between two players. On the sides, deal two more draw piles (so-called side piles) consisting of five cards each.
