Opole (Polish: [ɔˈpɔlɛ] ⓘ; German: Oppeln [ˈɔpl̩n] ⓘ; Silesian: Ôpole) [ a ] is a city located in southern Poland on the Oder River and the historical capital of Upper Silesia. Opole Zoo has everything from sea-lions to pelicans to monkeys to colourful birds, and the entry fee is only 18 złotych for adults.
