Sep 12, 2016 · As far as Ningxia goes, Guyuan is a bit of a backwater. And Xumishan is a good 50-60km from Guyuan, so it is definitely "off the beaten path". I went during Golden Week 2021, when Chinese tourists are still unable to leave China and tend to congregate in popular domestic destinations, and.... my friends and I had the place virtually to ourselves!
