Heaven and Hell is the ninth studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released on 18 April 1980. It is the first Black Sabbath album to feature vocalist Ronnie James Dio, who replaced original vocalist Ozzy Osbourne in 1979.

It was the band’s best chart performance since 1975’s Sabotage.
I first got into Black Sabbath’s Heaven and Hell album twenty years ago in the late spring of 1995. I was very impressed with Children of the Sea, the title track, Die Young, and Loney Is The Word. However, I think the entire album is a masterpiece!
