   The Dope has better finishing like elastic waist and sleeves that prevent snow to enter. The Volcom one seems built out of stronger materials and seems more durable. I really miss the ski pass pocket in the sleeve with the Volcom jacket...

   Positive reviews aren't hard to find, and some people have said they last for 2 or 3 years. I think they have a Used section where you might get a better price on some stuff. 🤷‍♂️ It's not great stuff but it's not horrible.

   I ride midwest, and it seems like 10% of the riders are in dope brand stuff. I have a couple jackets and I love them. I also have several other brands of stuff from Burton AK, Holden, airblaster. dollar for dollar dope is hard to beat.
