The top of the map is north, left west, right east and down is south. Press F3 and find the direction indicator (on the left side of your screen). Than just walk the opposite direction as the dot till you apear on the map
Jan 29, 2024 · To read a map in Minecraft you need to open it by right-clicking on it while it’s in your inventory. You can read maps in Minecraft as long as they are in your hands. When it comes to navigation, the top of the map is always north, the bottom is always south, the left is west and the right is east.
You can figure out the direction you need to go in by looking at where your player marker is on the map, and reversing that. You're on the top left – really, the north east west – so you need to head south and west east to get to your destination.
Feb 24, 2017 · I've traveled thousands of blocks to find a woodland mansion. I finally got to the point where my white dot on the map moves up/down depending on which direction I move. I've tried going North, South, East and West, but the white dot doesn't go onto the map as an arrow, filling the map.
