  1. Aug 25, 2011 · Two of Radio Shack's best-ever/best value products: * 40-1354 5-1/4" twincone extended range ("fullrange") driver . Developed for car stereo; one of the best-behaved small extended range drivers I know of; a bargain at its list price (typically about $14.99 each), phenomenal when they (finally) closed 'em out at $5 a pop.

  2. Jul 26, 2024 · Most RadioShack scanners were made by GRE over the years, but Uniden also made some now and again. For the most part the Uniden-made RS radios were very similar to contemporary Uniden scanners, albeit with RS programming methods and labels. First the good: The PRO2004/5/6 were the best of the best in their day.

  6. Aug 25, 2011 · I got a nice rock compilation record there once. It was recorded at a low sound level, but has survived in pretty good shape considering it's age. I owned one Radio Shack hi-fi component, a receiver which lasted until a recent cloud of smoke put it on the sidelines. Who knows, maybe my son's cat used it for a litter box or something...

  8. I don't have a dx 200, but if you can still find one of the sangean or radio shack dx440 it is still a good radio. I got mine for 100 new,got me into listening to amateur radio and did a great job on dx. I usually just hooked a wire to the internal antenna. Oh the 440 was a sangean that had a plastic cover over where the tape recorder plug was.
