As the snow begins to fall in the Twin Cities, we are thinking back to the warmer days of spring, when RHS students traveled to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). Christen co-led a group of nine students up to the Boundary Waters this past fall. The group spent three nights and four days sleeping in tents, paddling and portaging canoes, learning how to set up camp, building bonfires, cooking over an open flame, and — a trip highlight — stargazing.
