  2. Jul 24, 2019 · Yes, but there are a lot more usecases for using textures instead as they wrap around the object, allowing for animated textures on a 3D model or whatever you may need it for. (although i would only reccomend using this method on small models as since roblox limits decals to 1024x1024 pixels it will reduce your image quality)

Dec 7, 2021 · You could have a local script that syncs with a server object that tells the client what frame to show, you you could look here for how to do that with textures: Gifs in Roblox with only 1 image. But i’d recommend just using a gui that syncs with all clients, as having an animated image on the server like this can cause unnecessary lag.
