Jun 22, 2016 · When I run my system temp file cleaner it does erase the 'CBS' files but it takes forever due to their large size. I can go to the file and delete the files in the CBS folder with ease. Just right click/shift/delete. So I created a shortcut of the 'C:\Windows\Logs\CBS' to my desktop. ( Right click/Send to:/Desktop(create shortcut) )

Dec 19, 2017 · A. User. Created on December 19, 2017. CBS log is HUGE and taking up my entire disk! Help! A few days ago, I had more than 300 GB free on my hard drive. Today, I started getting errors saying that I was out of disk space. After some checking, it's the CBS file in c:\windows\logs\CBS -- it's 180 GB+ and apparently growing.

Thanks for the reply, I can try DISM and SFC/SCANNOW again but I'm trying to figure out how to remove the bad packages if or when I do find them.
