captainbill09. •. I haven't used Flashback 8 paddles on original hardware. However, I have used Flashback 2 joysticks on original hardware (both 2600 and 800) and they work great. Better than the original joysticks (certainly far more durable). So, if 8 paddles work on the 2, then my guess is that they will work on original hardware, too.

The VCS is a surprisingly good, and its native paddle games are really fun. But you’re always gonna be disappointed by paddle games in emulation. The Atari Classic Joystick has a dial/paddle built in. But I’m pretty sure there is an adapter to use an old 2600 paddle on it.
