Customers can send up to two pets in the same kennel in the baggage compartment following these conditions: Only fully weaned puppies or kittens from 12 weeks to 6 months can be placed together in the same kennel; Both animals must be of the same specie (no cat and dog mixed together)
Kennel must have adequate ventilation on 3 sides for domestic and 4 sides for international flights. The ventilation openings must be a max of 1" x 1" (dogs) or 3/4" x 3/4" (cats). Secured with metal bolts or screws. Snap closure kennels will only be accepted when secured with metal nuts, bolts or screws.
* Extra large (Size 500) kennels may be accepted on Alaska Flights operated with Boeing 737, Horizon Air Q400 and E175, and SkyWest ERJ-175 aircraft.
