Nov 4, 2023 · Once it's flooded that's it. You'll have to wait for that particular event to spawn again. What you can do next time is download this: https://github.com/Razzmatazzz/RemnantSaveGuardian and use it to back up your save at the start of the area that has it.
I’m in the Putrid Domain, and found a room that’s flooded. I found a switch you hit to bring the water down. I was in there, and grabbed one item, but saw more items to grab, but didn’t realize lowering the water level was temporary, so I ran got out before the water level came back up completely.
Oct 22, 2024 · Enter the first door to your left, walk over to Ladder III, then climb back down to the Flooded Level. Walk down the hall until you reach the room that contains a Small Key and use it to unlock the Handcuffed Gate to turn the valve.

Previously flooded areas remain cleared up until the point of no return, so you still have time to check everything out after you leave the zone. And yes, there are a lot of item and secrets in those zones.
