OC Transpo passes ACCEPTED on STO buses. the monthly OC Transpo pass (PRESTO); the e-transfer on PRESTO; the OC Transpo transfer; the U-PASS; the OC Transpo day pass; the O-Train ticket; and. the OC Transpo Support Person Card. The card holder is entitled to travel for free on STO.
Once you tap your Presto on an OC transpo bus, you can tap on an STO bus. Getting back to Ottawa, you’ll have to pay with coins to get on a bus (if you don’t have an STO pass) but OC transpo bus drivers are fine with the STO stub! Hope this helps!
You can tap on a STO bus with a presto card. For the second question, I believe OC Transpo will accept a STO transfer. So you would have to get a STO transfer and show it to the driver.
You can use your Presto pass and valid transfer to ride on all STO routes, without a fare top-up. Simply tap your card. You cannot use your e-Purse to start your trip on an STO route.
If you need to transfer from OC Transpo to STO, or between Para Transpo and buses or the O-Train, consider using a Presto card or paying by cash. Your transfer is your proof of purchase where it is required: on the O-Train, O-Train platform, articulated (accordion) buses and double deckers.
