   Oct 5, 2023 · I can confirm they work on all my 2600 machines (6, 4 switch an jr). The retro-bit controllers are a bit smaller than the original genesis Controllers - i like them very much. I own 2 black and 2 in blue. I have to use the seagull 78s in my 2600 jr to get the 8bitdo receivers to work. Not sure about retrobit.

   Dec 26, 2023 · I have a Retrobit (v2 receiver) wireless six button Genesis controller. It does not work on either the 2600 or the 2600+ when plugged in directly. It does work on both systems when plugged into the Mega7800 adapter. Unsure difference of v1 or v2 but mine definitely works perfectly on my original 2600 without it's own power supply.

   For the 2600 they all work. For 7800, that system has games with 2 buttons, and the pinout ends up slightly different than the Sega controllers and thus for 7800 you need an adapter to use Sega controller on 2 button 7800 games. Yep. It works great too. Ok grabbed this for $13, I hope it helps my jaw breaker score,!
