Realistically, you’re not going to put together a team that can make your film capable of actually creating the film without some kind of document everyone can reference. And while sure you COULD try to throw together the most barebones outline of your story to share, you’ll likely find an actual script is just the most functional document to convey what’s needed to tell the story.
