Jul 12, 2021 · The extra ten bucks gets you the TRS jack and extra configurability. Correct on the extra configurability, but the FS7 makes efficient use of it's space. It has separate A/B outs... but if A is not used, B can be used with a TRS cable. Interesting... here in Canada the FS-6 is $10 less than the FS-7, when you can even find an FS-7.
On the 50, its EITHER a switch OR an expression pedal. If you want both, upgrade to the 100. Source: have 50w mk2. Did research, have switch. with the 50 you only have the choice of using midi if you want to use both a regular footswitch as well as an expression pedal.

Oct 22, 2021 · You can use an optional boss FS-6 footswitch alongside the Katana 50 MKII, though this will only let you switch between your preset banks. You can even expand the effects section (and indeed delve deeper into what the Katana can do) by plugging the amp into your computer via the USB on the back and using the Boss Tone Studio Software.
