Sep 20, 2017 · One of the stand out elements of this movie is the fine score by Roy Budd. Budd was a completely self-taught musician who was hailed as a child prodigy. Over the course of his career Budd wrote a diverse selection of film scores and was adept at many different styles.
I must to confess to mildly burning out on Budd in the late 70's, but, recently cleaning up COMMANDO (from that Milan album) and the heretofore unknown to me MAMA DRACULA for a fellow FSM poster, I had my socks knocked off by COMMANDO and found MAMA DRACULA's harpsichord moments strangely reminding me of Billy Goldenberg.
